French White Porcelain with Gold Accent Tea Set
This porcelain tea set from the south of France has so many interesting characteristics. It has four cups with underplate/saucers, the teapot and sugar bowl. All pieces are in a lovely white porcelain and feature gold accents including French script writing and floral designs. The teapot features a dragon spout. The sides of the sugar bowl have small faces as handles and "Don D'amitie" in script on the front and "Par Sincérité" and "Bonté" on the lid. Each of the cups feature French script as well, such as "Bonheur". One can only imagine the happiness and laughter friends had while enjoying afternoon tea centered around this set. Several of the pieces are embossed with single digit hallmarks.
