Store Policies

We want every customer to be a happy customer.

Our website photos and copy are shot and written to ensure all products are represented accurately.  We encourage you to ask any and all questions you may have.  Our antique and vintage items are one-of-a-kind.  Due to their aged and used nature, all sales must be final.


Shipping Information/Rates

Safe, secure shipping is a top concern at European Finds for our products.  All the crates and corrugated containers are custom built and cushioned for the item being shipping.  Large furniture, chandeliers and mirrors are shipped in a custom built crate.  Smaller furniture and lamps will be shipped in a shipper built specifically for that piece.   

Your order from European Finds will be shipped via motor freight. This type of delivery requires your attendance and signature at delivery.  We request a 2-3 week lead time to prepare for shipment of your order.  Please contact us at 614-648-8969 if you required expedited shipment, or if you need to ship your purchase outside the 48 contiguous states.  White glove service is available at an additional fee.  Pricing will vary depending upon location and piece.  

All US orders will automatically be shipped with delivery confirmation and insurance.

Occasionally an item is damaged in shipping.  If that is the case, notify us immediately and we will assist in filing a claim with the shipper.  Retain all packaging and boxing materials.  Disposal of the damaged merchandise or packaging without our authorization may void any damage claim and no credit or replacement will be issued.  We are not responsible for merchandise that is damaged by the shipper.  All shipments are insured for their full value.

 

Sales Tax

All items purchased and shipped within the state of Ohio will be taxed at at a rate of 5.75% unless we are provided with an Ohio resale number.  In addition, residents of Licking County will be responsible for a 1.5% local tax.

 

Privacy Statement

We neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties.  When you purchase from our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, email address and credit card information.  You provide this information so we can process and ship your order.  We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.

We encourage you to sign-up for our e-mail newsletter.  Our newsletters provide you with new product announcements, notice of sales and other online store-related events.  You may opt-out of the mailings at any time.

Protecting your information is a high priority for us.  We used Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to insure your safety.  Secure Sockets Layer encrypts your order information and sends it to a secure server, making it impossible for that information to be decoded by a party outside of the shore you are shopping with.
