Imposing elegance for the estate office. Rare to find such a quality heavy wooden desk from France from the Napoleonic Era (circa 1815). The dark, rich finish and classical-themed gilt ornaments are perfect examples of post-Revolution design; the hand-embossed, gold-inlaid leather insert on the desktop is a recent update. The desk has drawers on one side with a cabinet on the other. The front and back side of the desk feature drawers and cabinet and lovely details. What a great feature - looks amazing when entering the room or seated at the desk. It also allows for two to utilize the desk. Working locks on cabinets and drawers.
Matching bookcases are available.
