Elegant service for 18 with: 18 flat cups 18 bowls 18 small plates 18 dinner plates 18 bread plates 18 fruit/dessert bowls (sauce) 18 saucers 2 creamers 1 mini open sugar bowl 2 extra large platters 2 large platters 2 vegetable platters - covered 1 soup tureen - covered 1 round platter by Tressemann & Vogt the classic pattern is 5224 which is a lovely white base with sophisticated gold encrusted and black bands. A few of the pieces are marked with Wright, Tyndale & Van Roden. They were Philadelphia retailers and importers of porcelain, pottery and glass, and active from the late 1880's to the mid-1920s.
